Emma attended the Queensland University of Technology where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Drama). Whilst majoring in set design, she also acted in university theatre productions. After completion of her degree she spent three years working for an animation studio making miniature sets and models for stop motion animated films and television. In 2000, whilst working as a projectionist she began studying with Lyn Kidd at The Actors Workshop where she graduated with a Diploma in film and television acting. She has participated in many productions, and was awarded Best Female Actor at the Queensland New Film-Makers Awards for her work in Rebecca Parker’s “Once I Was”. Emma has worked with some of Australia’s best film directors including Peter and Michael Spierig (“Predestination”, “Undead”) and Kriv Stenders (“Red Dog”, “The Illustrated Family Doctor”).
